Bangalore: Mithali Raj will lead the Indian women’s cricket team as the selectors announced 21 probables for the ODI series against New Zealand, here.
Apart from captain Mithali, the probables list has six more players from the Railways Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) – Harmanpreet Kaur, Poonam Raut, Ekta Bisht, Poonam Yadav, Niranjana Nagarajan and S Shubhalakshmi.
The selectors also announced India 'A' squad for the warm up game against the Kiwis. The 12-member 'A' squad will be led by Vanitha VR.
The five-match ODI series will begin on June 28 and all the matches will be played at M Chinnaswami stadium in Bangalore. The ODI series will be followed by a three match Twenty20 series, beginning July 11.
