Hyderabad: A man accused of raping a six-year-old girl was brutally beaten to death by a mob who wanted speedy justice.
According to reports, Suresh from Eluru was suspected of raping the girl and killing her. The body of the girl was found in a trunk.
After he was arrested by the Eluru police, a crowd gathered in front of the police station and staged an agitation demanding action against the alleged rapist.
The protest by locals continued all night.
In the morning, the angry mob ransacked the alleged rapist's house and proceeded to the police station where he was locked up.
They dragged Suresh out of the cell and beat him up. The beating was so severe that Suresh died.
The entire incident happened in front of policemen. The entire act was also filmed by locals.
