Soori to play lead comedian in Sandakozhi 2

Sandakozhi 2, the sequel to the 2005 hit flick Sandakozhi, will resurrect the role of Vishal in the lead. Although there is no official confirmation about the female lead in the movie, there are reports that Meera Jasmine who fulfilled the romantic interest of Vishal in the first movie of the franchise, will appear in a cameo this time around.

The latest addition to the film is Soori, who has a few promising flicks in his kitty. The actor, who has been providing the laughs in films for a while, will play the lead comedian in this film that has a rural backdrop. D Imman is scoring music for this action thriller, which will start shooting in August.
