Leo takes French tabloid to court

Actor and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio has filed a lawsuit against French gossip magazine Oops!, after they wrongfully reported that he was having a baby with singer Rihanna. According to DailyMail.co.uk, the magazine went on to claim that Leo did not even want the baby.

The actor’s legal team has asked the French court, where the suit has been filed, to force the magazine to pay the actor around 18,000 Euros in damages plus legal fees, as well as another 10,000 Euros if they didn’t print a retraction and apologise. The magazine’s owner, Frederic Truskolaski, told Gossip Cop that the magazine knew the story wasn’t true, but still published it.
