Kolkata: After a closed door meeting at BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya's residence, secretary Anurag Thakur said that the national team's support staff including the name of the Team Director will be announced by June 6, a day before the team leaves for tour of Bangladesh.
"Team India will arrive here on June 5. There will be a fitness test the next day and then they will leave for Bangladesh on June 7. The names of Team Director and support staff will be announced before that," Thakur told the waiting media persons after coming out of BCCI president's 10, Alipore residence.
"I came here to meet the President (Dalmiya) personally after the successful completion of the eighth season of IPL," he said.
IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla also accompanied Thakur to Dalmiya's residence but left early.
