Perambalur: The Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) has appealed to the State Government to re-introduce total prohibition in the state, as it is destroying number of families and youths across the state.The party’s Vice-president Kunangudi Hanifa briefing newsmen on the deliberations of its state office bearers meeting held under the leadership of its President J.S. Rifayee at Perambalur on Saturday said that a resolution to this effect was adopted at the meeting.
He said the meeting also requested the Tamil Nadu CM J. Jayalalithaa to set right the state administration on a war footing. He urged CM to take steps to increase the percentage of exclusive reservation for Muslims in jobs and educational avenues, as promised in her poll manifesto.
