The teaser trailer of Dhanush’s much-awaited Maari has received a massive response from fans. The video, which was released recently, has fetched over one million views on the video sharing site YouTube. The teaser, which is 32 seconds long, has catchy background music introducing Dhanush in a fight sequence which has him walking in from behind a car with a cigarette in hand and shades over his eyes.
The director of the film, Balaji Mohan tweeted, “Maari teaser crosses 1 million views. A million thanks from us and from Maari! (sic).”Dhanush also took to Twitter and said, “Thank you for this overwhelming response for Maari teaser (sic).” Produced by Raadhika Sarathkumar, the film depicts the love between a tailor played by Dhanush and a thread seller played by heroine Kajal Aggarwal. Anirudh has composed the music for the film.
