New age filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj took Tamil cinema to a new high with his out-of-the-box themes and narratives in films like Pizza and Jigarthanda. Raghavendra Prasad, one of his assistants, is now setting out on his own with a psychological thriller titled 54321.
Prasad says, “The movie will be a never before seen experience to the audiences. Five (5) characters, four (4) lifestyles, three (3) murders, two (2) hours and one (1) revenge form the basic plot of this film, thus explaining its intriguing title.”
Aarvin of Rummy fame plays the lead role while Kannada actress Pavithra has been roped in as his love interest. Shabir who debuted with Lakshmi Ramakrishnan’s Nerungi Vaa Muthamidaathe plays the baddie in the film. Also, veteran actress Rohini marks her return after a hiatus in a key role. While Joshua Sridhar is back to composing music, Baanu Murugan, a former associate of ace Balasubramaniam, is behind the camera for 54321.
