Visakhapatnam man enters his name in Guinness World Records

Mr Rao had delivered 654 jokes in a matter of one hour on September
Visakhapatnam: City-based Korukonda Ranga Rao, who has entered the Limca Book of Records, India Book of Records and Asian Book of Records by delivering maximum number of jokes for long hours and also in short time, has finally succeeded in getting his name entered into the Guinness World Records. Mr Rao had delivered 654 jokes in a matter of one hour on September 29, 2013 in Vizag by breaking the previous record set by an Australian, Anthony Lehmann who held the record of telling 549 jokes in an hour around eight years ago. The authorities of the Guinness Records sent the certificate to Mr Rao recently.
Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Kameneni Srinivasa Rao presented the Guinness World Records certificate to Mr Rao at Vysakhi Jala Udyanavanam on Saturday. The 43-year-old Ranga Rao, an employee at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, with a charm on his face, said that cracking jokes is his second job and he entertains thousands with his jokes.
Dedicating the certificate to the joke lovers in the country, Ranga Rao said he is chalking out plans to script his name second time in the Guinness World Records by delivering jokes for non-stop 55 hours.
