Shruti has no word of advice

Her sister Akshara recently kick-started her Bollywood journey with Shamitabh

She may be only a few films old in Bollywood, but Shruti Haasan very well understands the importance of sharing screen space with A-listers. “Having A-listers definitely helps your film. I cannot pick and choose my co-star but yes, I’d want to work with all of them,” says the actress whose film Gabbar Is Back just hit the theatres. The length of the role is not something Shruti gives too much importance to. “It’s not about the length, but more about the impact of the character. I said yes to Gabbar… because I loved the original film Ramanna,” she says.

This actress is equally serious about her music too. She has lent her voice to Sonakshi Sinha among many others. “I started out as a playback singer at the age of five. Juggling acting and singing isn’t tough. It’s all about time management,” she says.

Her sister Akshara recently kick-started her Bollywood journey with Shamitabh. Does Shruti have any advice for her? “My mother offered me advice from her experience, but I don’t think I can. Everyone has their own journey. It’s the same with my sister. I’m there if she needs me but I don’t believe in offering any advice,” she says.
