Watch: What if Avengers were from South India?

Since the release of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, the Marvel based series has been attracting more attention that it usually does and so, an Indian Comedy Channel on Youtube, Put Chutney, took advantage of this opportunity to create a spoof of the ‘Avengers’ initiative’ and called it “What if The Avengers were from South India?”

They’ve “Indianized” the characters by giving them Indian names, like Girithor for Thor and ‘Kaakeye’ for ‘Hawkeye’. They also make fun of some of the changes that would take place if the Avengers’ were to live in India, which all of us understand a little too well, like Black Widow’s mother insisting she wear her ‘dupatta’ and ‘bindi’ and be home by eight, ‘Iron man’ makes JARVIS do all his work, and that the economy is in ruins; ‘Fury’ has to employ the superheroes to do ordinary work at enticing discounts!

From visa discounts to birthday parties to doing the ‘barthan’, the Avengers do everything! Their other superhero based parody, ‘What if Batman was from Chennai’ is just as hilarious and so relatable!
