According to rumours, the actor is slated to star in a cop film opposite Trisha

Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain, which released this week, has been enjoying all the attention. The Ulaganayagan has two more releases in the pipeline this year, and has no plans to relax. According to sources, he will start shooting for his next flick soon.
Tipped to be an action flick, the film has Trisha playing his romantic interest — for the second time after K.S. Ravikumar’s Manmadhan Ambu — while Prakash Raj has been brought on board to play a prominent role. The source says, “The film will be directed by newbie Rajesh and Kamal is likely to play a cop in it. It’s too early to reveal more details pertaining to the movie.”
The actor was last seen in a cop’s role in Gautham Menon’s Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu, which was also the last time he had teamed up with Prakash Raj.
