No BJP face in TTD, seats for 2 Telangana State MLAs

Chandrababu Naidu did not give a chance to any of the BJP leaders from AP or TS
Hyderabad: In what is being considered a tactical move, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu did not give a chance to any of the BJP leaders from Andhra Pradesh or Telangana in the new TTD board that was constituted on Friday.
However, four nominees, two from Tamil Nadu and one each from Maharashtra and Karnataka, who were said to have been proposed by the BJP’s central leadership, found a place on the board.
The 15-member board will be headed by Chadalavada Krishna Murthy, a TD leader from Tirupati. It will have three other ex-officio members — the executive officer; commissioner of endowments and principle revenue secretary.
V. Krishna Murthy, J. Sekhar from Tamil Nadu, D.P. Anantha from Karnataka and Ravi Narayan from Maharashtra were among the new members. Though several other requisitions have been made from AP BJP unit, Mr Naidu has not considered any of them, party sources said.
Two Telugu Desam MLAs from Telangana region- Sandra Venkata Veeriah and V. Sayanna also found a place on the board, a move being seen as to keep the flock together. Their names have been doing rounds for quite some time.
Though Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, BJP MLA from Khairatabad was also in the race, his candidature was not considered. Mr Naidu is said to have accepted the recommendations from actor Pawan Kalyan and made P. Hari Prasad from Tirupati a member.
Film director K. Raghavendra Rao also found a place on the board. He is considered close to Mr Naidu and had produced some campaign songs for TD during election time. Suchitra Ella, an industrialist and founding chairperson of CII’s women wing was also made member.
