Red sanders mafia case: Mastan Vali tortured me, actress Neetu Agarwal tells cops

ANANTAPUR: Small-time actress Neetu Agarwal, who was arrested for her links with the red sanders mafia, has told the police that she was not happy living with Mastan Vali, the producer of her film Prema Prayanam who had been arrested before her. She had apparently faced domestic violence and was assaulted by Vali quite a few times, leading to injuries. “During medical examination, several old scars were noticed on her body, caused by Mastan Vali,” a senior police official said.

Neetu apparently did not have anyone to turn to as her family had deserted her after her association with Vali. And though the actress had ben living with him, there are no records of their marriage.

Mastan Vali was aware about the legal complications and would mention himself as Neetu’s guardian. “Mastan Vali had never claimed Neetu as his wife and would mention himself as her guardian in property and bank transactions,” a senior official said. Neetu, who had done small roles in Telugu films prior to Prema Prayanam, meanwhile denied that she had a three-year-old son as had been rumoured.
