Siddharth’s new Telugu film

Actor Siddharth has a Telugu release coming up. His film, Nalo Okadu, a dubbed version of the Tamil film Ennen Kula Varuvan is hitting the screens on May 1.

Prakruthi, the young producer of the film, says, “Siddharth has also sung a song in the film. The original film Lucia was made in Kannada and was a big blockbuster. Siddharth had seen the film and wanted to do the remake in Tamil. Though somebody else had the rights, Siddharth requested them to give it to him. That’s how the Tamil film happened.”

She adds that Siddharth is very popular in Telugu and has a huge following here, especially among the college youth. “I am confident that the film will do better here,” she says. Prakruthi’s mother Kalpana Koneru is a well-known producer in Tamil.
