Mumbai: Volvo has launched a new petrol variant of ‘V40 Cross Country’ for the Indian market. It sports a T4 1.6-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, which offers 180PS of peak power and 240Nm of peak torque. The company has used the direct injection technology for the V40 Cross Country.
The GTDi engine is also equipped with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and a front-wheel-drive function. Laser Assisted Automatic Braking, Dynamic Stability and Traction Control, Intelligent Driver Information Systems and directional headlights are the different safety features of the newly launched car.
The market price of V40 Cross Country is Rs 27 lakh for the Indian market.
