NDA government set to celebrate 1 year in office

Modi-led government completes one year next month
New Delhi: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pitch abroad, showcasing his government’s achievements on various foreign lands, it is time for domestic showcasing as the NDA government completes one year next month.
The Modi government has asked Union ministries and departments to begin work on a war footing to prepare their list of achievements and works completed in the span of one year of coming to power.
The Union home ministry, which has been one of the most active ministries on account of crisis management, J&K, Naxal insurgency, North-East and Centre-state issues, has already sought details from each of its divisions of the achievements and future plans.
Bureaucrats handling the one-year reports pointed out that the message the NDA government wants to send is also very clear of not merely talking of the achievements, but on showing the road ahead.
Sources revealed that all the babus will also prepare pointers on what they think they would like to do in their respective departments, which can be the roadmap ahead. While this has got various bureaucrats thinking, the basic groundwork for ek saal Modi sarkar is almost complete.
