CM N Chandrababu Naidu back from China, hopes for investments

He expressed hope that world class companies will be set up in Amaravati
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed hope that world class companies will be set up in Amaravati, the new capital city of AP. Mr Naidu, who reached Hyderabad after his six-day visit to China on Saturday, expressed satisfaction over his visit.
He said that a total of 29 Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) were signed with China. Among the MoUs, 17 are Government to Business (G2B) and 12 are Business to Business (B2B).
Mr Naidu said Singapore, Japan and China showed interest in the development of Amaravati. He said that the Chinese industrialists will come to AP to explore the opportunities for investment in the state.
Mr Naidu visited Beijing, Chengdu and Shanghai and met several industrialists, government officials and political leaders and briefed them about the opportunities of investment in the new capital Amaravati and also in AP.
He said various companies have come forward to invest in AP state. He said that he will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi soon. Mr Naidu said that some political leaders are trying to stop the development of the state and they want poor people to remain poor. He said he is working for upliftment of the poor. He said China will develop as a leading country in ten years.
