At some point in our lives, we have cringed and even cried at the thought of getting injections. But this 38-year-old Indian man not only overcome the fear of inserting surgerical needles, but he is not his way to create a new record. Bhupen Chandra Das has taken to performing an extreme stunt of inserting needles into his face. Nicknamed as India's needle man, Das claims to hold a record for inserting as many as 550 surgical needles into his face. Das hails from North-Eastern part of India and has been doing lethal stunts for the last 15 years.

According to Huffington Post, Das has found some fame, but little fortune, for his efforts and that's a sticking point with his father, Sambhruam Das Das. He has said that he won't stop sticking himself with needles until he gets recognized by Guinness World Records, but that could be a while. Since this record has already been claimed by a previous contestant. The most needles inserted into the head is 2,188 and was achieved by Wei Shengchu (China), on the set of 'Guinness World Records - Rekorlar Dunyasi' in Istanbul, Turkey, on 11 June 2013.
