Mumbai: Just 48 hours after the video 'My Choice' was released it spread like a wildfire on the internet. This 2 minute video brought to light certain aspects of our society that irked not just one but many souls.

Although support poured in numerous amounts, there were still few opinions that left a sour aftertaste. The 'Finding Fanny' director, Homi Adajania, went out and about on how he admires Deepika Padukone for being who she is, has come out for support for his recent short film on women empowerment.

In an interview with 9xe.com, Homi says that it's pretty obvious from the reactions received that this is a feeling that has been suppressed for long enough. However, Homi reacted politely to all the critics saying, “They don’t understand the context or they are Internet trolls hankering for attention, or maybe they have a different viewpoint...it’s a democracy and this is our view and they are entitled to theirs.”

The short film features 99 women from across different professions. Other known faces in the video are Farhan Akhtar's wife Adhuna and sister Zoya and Homi's stylist wife Anaita. Deepika talks about how every little decision in life, is hers to choose.
