Man hides gold in underwear, nabbed at Rajiv Gandhi International airport

Hyderabad: Customs officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport apprehended a passenger with 584 gm gold biscuits concealed in his underwear on Thursday.
The male passenger arrived on a flight from Muscat. Security officials grew suspicious after he passed through a body scanner and detained him. He confessed to smuggling gold on being questioned.
The gold was seized and further investigation is on regarding the man’s possible links with other smuggling gangs in the city.
