Moved by Lady Gaga’s Oscar tribute performance for her, veteran star Julie Andrews says the pop star is a friend now.The 79-year-old star was “deeply honoured” by Gaga’s rendition of the title song of Andrews’ 1965 Academy-winning musical The Sound of Music, reported People magazine.
“I was deeply honoured by the Academy’s lovely tribute to The Sound of Music and especially touched by Lady Gaga’s wonderful performance,” she said. Meanwhile Gaga announced on Twitter, that she is set to be a part of US TV series American Horror Story’s fifth season. She posted a creepy video online and captioning it, “Make your reservation now. #GagaAHSHotel.”
