Kamal Haasan has reservations about PK remake

Kamal’s next Tamil release Paapanasam is all set to be remade into Hindi
Kamal Haasan has in the past been part of Raj Kumar Hirani’s film Lage Raho Munnabhai’s Tamil remake, but the actor isn’t sure this time around with PK. Haasan, a self-confessed atheist, apparently has reservations about the strong content in the film against organised religion. Says the actor, “The producers have only initiated talks. I am in Mauritius at the moment on recce for the next film for my own production company. Someone has jumped the gun and leaked information about the undecided deal.”
Kamal, however, has no doubts that if he does not take up the role, someone else will. “I might do the film if certain demands of mine are met. But it is a successful and interesting film, so I am sure many actors would be eager to do it.”
Meanwhile, Kamal’s next Tamil release Paapanasam is all set to be remade into Hindi with Ajay Devgn in the lead. The film was a huge success in Malayalam when it was released as Drishyam with Mohan Lal in the lead.
