Washington: Stephen Hawking congratulated Eddie Redmayne for winning the Best actor Oscar for 'The Theory of Everything', by publishing a message on his Facebook page.
The 73-year-old took to his social networking account and mentioned that he was very proud of Redmayne for portraying him perfectly in the movie.

This sweet gesture came moments after the star thanked Stephen in his acceptance speech. After the event, the English actor told reporters backstage that he does plan to go and see Hawking and his family to celebrate after his epic win.
