Activists did not misbehave with girls and asked them to go back to their homes: Navin Kumar

Kanpur: Bajrang Dal activists on Saturday chased away young couples from parks and zoos as a protest against Valentine's Day here. A large number of young couples who had gathered at the Motijheel park and zoo here in the afternoon were chased away by the leaders of Bajrang Dal.
The zoo authorities however did not take any action against the activists. Bajrang Dal leader Navin Kumar said that celebrating Valentine's Day was against Indian culture and hence we were protesting against it.
He claimed that the activists did not misbehave with girls and asked them to go back to their homes. Police said that no complaints have been filed in the matter.
