Excitement was in the air at the Bits-Pilani Hyderabad campus as students waited in anticipation for actors Varun Dhawan and Yami Gautam to arrive. The lead actors of the upcoming Bollywood film Badlapur, Varun and Yami came to the campus to interact with students. Varun even danced to a song which had the young fans screaming and cheering.
“They were also here to wish us all the best for our college fest Pearl. We hope to invite them for it if things work out,” says Vishnu Saran, a student of BITS-Pilani (H). Another lucky student also got an opportunity to give Yami Gautam a sketch made by him.
The actress tweeted: “Really endearing gesture by Varun from BITS Pilani! Beautiful sketch!” “She is one of my favourite actresses and I am glad I got to give her the sketch,” says Varun Kumar P., a student and a member of the college art club. “The team from Badlapur was on campus for 45 minutes. We all had a great time,” he says.
