Hyderabad: Disturbed neighbours had to call the police after Tollywood actor Ram Charan and his friends allegedly made a ruckus in the early hours of Sunday by hooting and shouting.
A top bureaucrat living in the neighbourhood at Jubilee Hills dialled 100 and the police reached the spot and warned the revellers — who included sons of two prominent politicians — and asked them to disperse.
However, no case was booked against them since they listened to the cops and the neighbours did not want to take the matter further. However, sources close to Ram Charan denied the allegations and said that he had not created any trouble in the area. “He was inside his home at that time. The allegations are false,” his publicist told this newspaper.
According to the Jubilee Hills police, the incident occurred after 3 am when Ram Charan and his friends were shouting while hanging out in front of Chiranjeevi’s house. A neighbour called 100 and sought help.
“Our sub-inspector on night duty and other constables went to his residence the check what had happened,” said a senior official from Jubilee Hills police station....
