Hyderabad: Conjoined twins Veena and Vani are going to be examined by doctors from the Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, on Saturday. The twins were earlier examined in 2009, but due to complications, the twins’ father had refused to allow the surgery to separate them.
The twins are 11 years old now. UK doctors Dr David Dunaway and Dr Owase Jeelani had successfully performed a similar surgery, which encouraged the doctors from Niloufeur Hospital to approach them.
