Mumbai: Vidya Balan who is gearing up for the release of ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ might have just hit the jackpot. The actress has got a number of offers.
According to a report in Mid-day, Vidya has been offered two biopics. One of them is about the life of late actress Suchitra Sen, while the other one is on former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
The actress will essay the role of a simple, traditional Indian woman in 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani'. Producer Mahesh Bhatt said, “‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ is a very emotional perspective on a traditional Indian woman. She is your mangalsutra-wearing woman, who though works in a five star hotel as a florist, has still not gone out of that traditional space. I feel we have stopped looking at that woman. We are only looking at the urban women in our films,”
