Ankita Sharma of Rangrasiya fame, got engaged to Mayank Sharma this week and the wedding date has been fixed for March 9. Ankita and Mayank first met at Ekta Kapoor’s party in November last year and are now all set to tie the knot.
Speaking to us exclusively, Ankita revealed, “Both of us were part of Box Cricket League but I didn’t even know him then. We met later at Ekta’s party and danced together for about 15 minutes after which he told me that he likes me.
Some time after that, he didn’t propose a date, but directly said that he wanted to marry me. We belong to the same community and we have common friends. My family liked him too. The engagement was a sudden decision and I didn’t even have enough time to put together my look, as I’m shooting for Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. The wedding is in March and it’s a case of ‘chat mangni, pat vyah’, as they say.”
