Model graveyard at Pahadi Shareef

The last date for completing computerisation and cross verification of Wakf records is February 28

Hyderabad: Flexis displaying minorities welfare schemes will be put up in all mosques for the benefit of people. The state government is also mulling to set up a model graveyard at Pahadi Shareef, where the last rites for the Muslims will be done at free of cost.

In a meeting with the minority welfare department officials, Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahamood expressed his dissatisfaction over collection of huge amount of money from people for burial at various graveyards and asked the officials to stop the same.

He asked the Wakf Board CEO to put up notice boards, sign boards on all Wakf lands and graveyards so that these lands can be protected from encroachments. The last date for completing computerisation and cross verification of Wakf records is February 28, Mr Mahamood reminded in the meeting.
