Hyderabad: The TRS leadership has issued a stern warning to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for planning to undertake a tour of Telangana.
Transport minister P. Mahender Reddy said on Tuesday that they would not keep quite if Mr Naidu, “who is creating hurdles for the new state at every step and insults Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao”, tours Telangana.
“Why is Naidu, Lokesh planning to tour Telangana? If Chandrababu Naidu tours Telangana we will do what we want. KCR visited Warangal, Mahbubnagar and plans to visit other districts to ascertain problems of people and solve them.
Naidu should tour his state. But if he visits Telangana we will not keep quiet,” he warned. Mr Naidu and his son Mr Lokesh are planning to tour Telangana shortly to raise the sagging morale of Telugu Desam workers and check defections. Mahender Reddy, a former TDP leader, said that Mr Naidu had no right to visit the state.
