Mumbai: The trailer of Kamal Haasan's upcoming film 'Uttama Villain' is all set to be released on Pongal. The makers recently released the much awaited trailer of the film. There were speculations of the trailer being leaked online but the fake video was removed from YouTube. The movie directed by Ramesh Aravind also features Jayram, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar and Parvathy Nair. Kamal's mentor K Balachander who has passed away recently will be seen in a cameo in the movie.
The film is said to be the story of an ageing superstar, played by Kamal. The actor will feature in a dual role in the film as an eighth century drama actor and a 21st century cinestar. An interesting fact is, he has penned down the storyline too!
The trailer is out a day before it was anticipated. Ramesh took Twitter to express his delight on the overwhelming response the trailer has received. Produced by Thirrupathi brothers, the audio launch is likely to take place at a grand event soon.
