5 SIMI suspects may be in Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad/Nellore: A look out notice was sent to the Andhra Pradesh police regarding five absconding Students of Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) terror suspects who are thought to be involved in the Bengaluru blast. The alert came after reports that they may have sneaked into AP districts like Nellore.
The SIMI terror suspects who escaped from Khandwa jail in Madhya Pradesh. Police is scouting Tada, Arambakam of Nellore district and Satyavedu of Chittor district. The alert says that the suspects do petty business on the roadside and conduct reconnaissance of the areas to carry out terror attacks. It said they use Hindu names.
Investigations by the Telangana State police found the gang linked to around eight bank robberies in the country. Four SIMI activists, who broke out of Khandwa jail, are suspected to be involved in the Rs 46 lakh robbery in SBI where cash was looted at gunpoint on Feb. 1, 2014.
The terror suspects were identified as Aijajudeen, Aizaz alias Riyaz alias Rahul, 30 a resident of Narsinghpur, Shaikh Mehboob Guddu alias Malik, Zakir Hussain Sadiq alias Vicky Don alias Vinay Kumar, 25, a resident of Khandwa, Amzad alias Daud, 25, a resident of Khandwa and Aslam alias Mohammed Aslam alias Soheb alias Bilal alias Santosh, 26, a resident of Khadwa in Madhay Pradesh.
Police is scouting Tada, Arambakam in Nellore district and Satyavedu in Chittor district. The alert says that the suspects with Hindu names do petty business on the roadside and conduct reconnaissance of the areas to carry out terror attacks. The Tamil Nadu police also stepped up vigilance on the movements of the SIMI terror suspects.

The accused were also involved in the Bijnor blast. In Bijnor, when they were manufacturing IEDs, one exploded. They took the injured, identified as Mehboob alias Guddu, to a hospital where they were caught on CCTV and the footage matched with that of images of the suspects.
