Jagan Mohan Reddy fast to protest use of force against farmers opposing land pooling

Farmers said that they were being arrested at night and forced to name YSRC leaders

Hyderabad: YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will to go on a two-day fast to protest the alleged intimidation of farmers in the capital area. On Monday, Mr Reddy met Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and complained against the government for using repressive measures against farmers opposed to land pooling for the capital.

Farmers said that they were being arrested at night and forced to name YSRC leaders for last week’s arson.
