Chief Minister: BJP plotting to wreck peace

Siddaramaiah charged that the former was trying to foment communal hatred across the state

Bengaluru: Launching a blistering attack on the Opposition BJP, Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah on Sunday charged that the former was trying to foment communal hatred across the state by pursuing its hidden agenda.Speaking at the Congress party’s 130th Foundation Day celebration in Bengaluru, Mr Siddaramaiah said, “We have obtained proper information about their ill designs to disturb communal harmony in the state, but we too are well equipped to foil their designs.”

He charged further that the BJP does not believe in justice for all instead it believes in one-upmanship and therefore it will try to pursue its hidden agenda of disturbing harmony.According to him, the BJP has always believed in the caste system and hegemony of upper castes over the backward classes.“I will not allow them to pursue their agenda of suppressing the backward classes. The Conggress party and party workers will unitedly fight against such discrimination,” he said.
