Air India and the civil aviation ministry are likely to inquire into the matter

New Delhi: A union leader of All India Cabin Crew Association of Air India has complained to the civil aviation ministry, alleging that the daughter of a senior airline functionary was illegally accommodated in the jump seat in the aircraft on a flight on December 13 since all the other passenger seats were occupied.

The union leader alleged that the lady was illegally allowed to occupy the cabin crew horizontal rest area in the plane.

He has also complained about another alleged instance wherein a passenger in the first-class was asked to sit in the executive class on a flight on November 1 on the Frankfurt-Delhi sector in order to accommodate a senior bureaucrat who was upgraded.
