'Army troops sacrificed their lives for security of the nation'

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing an election rally at Hazaribagh in Jharkhand, said that the militants, by carrying out a series of attacks in Kashmir on Friday, have tried to attack Indian democracy but the Army troops sacrificed their lives for security of the nation.

“I pay my tributes to Jharkhand’s brave son Sankalp Kumar Shukla and other brave jawans who scarified their lives. Terrorists tried to attack the democracy of India. But brave jawans scarified their lives protecting the country’s security,” he said.
