New venue for immersion of the Ganesh idols shift to Vinayakasagar lake

Hyderabad: If all goes as per plan, immersion of the Ganesh idols will shift from Hussainsagar to the Vinayakasagar lake at Indira Park next year.

GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar said, “After the Assembly Session, the Telangana Chief Minister will meet all the political parties in the state and deliberate on a proposed plan to shift the Ganesh immersion venue. Vinayak Sagar will be developed once the technical committee is formed. It will be used for immersion.

A meeting would also be scheduled soon with MPs, MLAs, MLCs, Mayor and corporators along with the Ganesh Utsav Samiti representatives.
