Anup Jalota's wife Medha passes away

Mumbai: Anup Jalota's wife, Medha, after battling a serious disease for a long time finally breathed her last in Americal last night. According to a friend, she had undergone another heart transplant surgery followed by kidney transplant surgery. However, she passed away due to liver failure .

Neice of former Prime Minister, I.K Gujral, had first seen Anup in one his concerts. In the last one year Anup had cancelled all his professional commitments to be with his ailing wife in America. In 2001, doctors had given only one month to Medha to live, but Anup flew her down to US for a heart transplant surgery. Earlies this year, when he left for US he was quoted saying, " It has happened before, it is happening again. There's a lot of stress, but we'll fight it out. Love means doing anything and everything for each other. Medha's health is my only priority now."
