ASUS unveils PadFone mini PF400CG

Powered by an Intel Atom Z2560 processor, PadFone mini has 8GB of internal storage

ASUS announced PadFone mini, a beautiful 4-inch smartphone that transforms effortlessly into a 7-inch tablet.

The ASUS PadFone mini comfortably fits the palm for an instantly expanded view on a 1280 x 800-pixel display — larger than HD.

Powered by an Intel Atom Z2560 processor, PadFone mini has 8GB of internal storage, a micro SD card slot, exclusive DynamicDisplay technology to resize apps for the different display sizes and a brilliant 8-megapixel (8MP) main camera and 2MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Both the 4-inch (800 x 480-pixel) and 7-inch (1280 x 800-pixel) displays use IPS+ (in-plane switching) technology for clear and sharp images that also offer good viewing angles.

With five color choices on offer and the sublime new ZenUI user interface, there’s a PadFone mini to please everyone.

PadFone mini is also slim, with the smartphone’s gently-curved design tapering to just 6.3mm at its thinnest edge — and the smartphone itself weighs just 116g. With diamond-cut edges and a spun-metal finish, it also sports a good look. A soft-touch ceramic coating ensures comfort and durability.

The ASUS PadFone Mini is available for an MRP of Rs 15,999
