Is the actress upset with Salman Khan?
Mumbai: Salman Khan’s sister Arpita’s wedding was followed by a lavish reception in Mumbai on Friday. Several A-list celebrities made it to the reception, but Katrina Kapoor was nowhere in sight, according to a report in Absolute India.
Katrina who was Salman’s ex lover, is very close to Arpita and attended her wedding in Hyderabad on Tuesday. During the celebration that followed that day, Salman who was in high spirits addressed the actress as Katrina Kapoor. Katrina was left red-faced but nevertheless joined Salman on stage.
Was Katrina upset with Salman’s joke? A source was quoted as saying, “Katrina decided to attend the wedding even though Ranbir Kapoor wasn’t invited for the wedding because she is extremely close to Arpita. As expected Salman didn’t miss an opportunity to embarrass her in front of the gathering. Being upset by his comments, the actress decided to stay away from the wedding reception.”
The isn’t the first time Salman has pulled the actress’ leg on a public platform, previously Katrina made an appearance on his TV show Bigg Boss to promote one of her films, but Salman as usual didn’t miss a chance to embarrass her. After which, Katrina decided not to make anymore appearances on the show.
However Katrina’s spokesperson was quoted as saying, “Not true at all. Kat was out of town for a shoot on the day of the reception in Mumbai. Anyways, the reception was for those who couldn’t make it to Hyderabad.”
