PESB selected Mr Bhattarcharya from the list of 12 candidates

Hyderabad: Sutirtha Bhattacharya, a 1985 Andhra Pradesh cadre IAS officer, has been appointed as the new chairman and managing director of Coal India Ltd (CIL). CIL is a Maharatna company. The Public Enterprise Selection Board selected Mr Bhattarcharya from the list of 12 candidates who applied for the post.
