Addiction to porn has always been known to have its side effects. However, this one seems to be bizarre, but true.
Torronto Sun reported that Gabe Deem, who was addicted to porn and started to masturbate to magazines since the age of 8, suffered erectile dysfunction due to the addiction to porn.
The 26-year-old from Texas claimed that after he was raised on a steady and increasing diet of porn, he is finally unable to perform despite having an opportunity with an attractive woman in his life.
He eliminated almost all reasons why he could not achieve an erection and was finally left to conclude that he suffered from severe porn-induced erectile dysfunction.
Gabe claims "My body felt like it was in an alien experience."
He swore to get off porn, but it still took him a good nine months to return to normal sexual function.
Gabe Deem shared his story as a public speaker. He now counsels youth and operates Reboot Nation, which is an online community that helps users to overcome problems related to porn.
Deem stated that a few recent studies showed that a porn addict’s brain lit up in a similar fashion to those addicted to drugs.
Gabe Deem finally concluded that, "Internet porn is really screwing with a whole generation of younger users who aren't aware of its negative effects."
