Hyderabad: A police officer who was in the police vehicle said that the duo who were following the CM’s convoy were trying do something adventurous.

“They rode between the convoy and pilot vehicles for sometime and then started driving parallel,” said a police officer who was in the police vehicle.

The two then rammed the vehicle of Vanastalipuram ACP L. Anand Bhasakar and fell on the road. “The traffic cops tried to stop them.

However, they gave the slip and continued to drive along with the convoy. Later, they lost balance, rammed my vehicle and fell,” said the ACP. “I took rushed them to the Oxygen Hospital at Chintalkunta,” he added.

He said that Srinivas was driving and Prakash was on the pillion. “They did not intent to attack the CM. We think they were trying to have an adventure.” the ACP added.

While some sources alleged that the cops intentionally dashed against the bike as the riders did not stop their vehicle despite several warnings, the cops denied the allegations and said that it was an accident.
