Washington: Johnny Depp, who recently gave a speech at Hollywood Film Awards, appeared drunk on the stage.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 'Pirates of the Carribean' star appeared unsteady on his feet and was seen slurring his words. The American actor asserted after being distracted by the shape of the microphone that he was not really good at this kind of thing between curse words censored out by CBS during the event.

Depp was there to present the best documentary award to 'Supermensch:The Legend of Shep Gordon', which was directed by Mike Myers.
