As many as 10 members of the family were questioned
Police has booked a case under Sections 376 of IPC and 5 and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012.
Shivamogga: The probe of the Criminal Investigation Department into the suspicious death of a 14-year old girl on October 31 is likely to reach the climax soon.
As part of their probe, CID cops on Friday quizzed Nandita’s father Krishnamurthy, mother Vimala and family members.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Mr Krishnamurthy said that according to CID officials this could be the last stage of obtaining information from the family. “As many as 10 members of our family were questioned,” he claimed.
He claimedCID cops were intensively interrogating the police constable Anil who is suspected to be the main witness in the case.
