BJP demands Azam Khan’s apology for comment on PM Modi

Azam had alleged that Mr Modi was “small-hearted”

Lucknow: The BJP in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday sought an apology from senior UP minister Mohammed Azam Khan who had accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of not wishing Muslims on Id-ul-Zuha. Mr Khan, at a function on Wednesday, had alleged that Mr Modi was “small-hearted” and had not wished the people on Id. BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said the minister should explain the reason behind his false propaganda because the Prime Minister had wished the people on the occasion through an official release dated October 6. The spokesman said, “Mr Azam Khan has mastered the bad habit of targeting the Prime Minister all the time and this time he has not even bothered to check his facts”.
