T Harish Rao: We will take every question raised

The Opposition is determined to grill the TRS government over various issues

Hyderabad: The TRS strength in the Legislative Council too has shot up ensuring complete control of both Assembly and Council leaving a fractured Opposition further decimated.

The Opposition is determined to grill the TRS government over the power crisis, farmers’ deaths, one lakh loan waiver scheme, two-bed room houses for weaker sections among other issues.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has convened a Cabinet meeting in the Assembly premises on Wednesday at 10 am to approve the Budget and the Session will start from 11 am.

Mr Harish Rao said after presentation of the Budget, the Business Advisory Committee will finalise the agenda, the number of days of Assembly sittings, question hour, zero hour, petitions and other subjects and ensure every legislator gets a chance to speak on the problems of his constituency and other issues.

“We will take every question raised by the Opposition and answer them. We will not run away like the Seemandhra government. Let us maintain decorum of the House. We will accept suggestions from the Opposition.

If needed, I will go to Opposition offices and discuss with them any issue. The Opposition should not indulge in mudslinging and act on the direction of the Chief Minister of the neighbouring state,” he said.

Seeking Opposition cooperation, Mr Harish Rao said there is urgent need to discuss farmers’ issues, power crisis and take steps to save farmers and other sections of people from various problems.

Opposition Telugu Desam, the Congress, the BJP and other parties are at draggers drawn to attack the TRS government and the strong TRS team too are gearing up to hit back.
