One unit of the Army comprises around 100 personnel

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir has sought over 56,500 security force personnel for the five-phase Assembly polls in the state commencing November 25.
"We have sought 565 companies from the Centre," a senior official of the Home department told PTI.
A company comprises around 100 personnel.
Polling for the 87 seats will take place on November 25, December 2, 9, 14 and 20 and notification for the first and second phase of polls will be issued on Tuesday.
